Wilde Road is a love letter to the everyday.

I’m Lisa; a New Zealand writer, marketer and the person behind Wilde Road.

Before Wilde Road, I spent more than 15 years working in marketing and building brands around the world. In 2020, I started shoplocal.nz to support small New Zealand businesses through what was a pretty uncertain time. That grew into helping business owners with their marketing, Instagram, content and strategy.

Then, in 2021, something unexpected happened.

I started sharing simple daily reminders alongside my marketing content — words about life, motherhood, confidence, slowing down and figuring things out as we go. People connected with them, shared them, saved them and sent them to people they loved.

And Wilde Road grew from there.

Today, I’m the author of several books, creator of prints and reminders, and incredibly lucky to have a community of more than 300,000 people around the world reading and sharing my words.

I still work with businesses too, helping them make Instagram and marketing feel simpler, clearer and a lot less overwhelming.

So while my work has taken a few different turns over the years, it really comes down to two things: words that help people feel better, and ideas that help businesses grow.

And I’m very happy to have found a way to do both.
